Glasgow Public Involvement in Cancer

The health inequality gap in cancer survival rates between affluent and deprived communities in Scotland is widening yet limited attempts have been made to understand the views and opinions of the people living in deprived communities on cancer. A rapid appraisal approach was adopted to explore the perceptions of cancer and health promotion in three deprived Glasgow communities in more depth.
