Effective Diffusion and Adoption of Health Working Practices

Feb 2007

Funded by the Glasgow Centre for Population Health, this feasibility study had two main objectives:

  1. To establish the parameters of a potential healthy working practices demonstration and research project.
  2. To ensure that the right questions to be answered are at the heart of the research.

These objectives have been explored through a combination of reviewing relevant theory and practice in the fields of health working and health promotion more generally, whilst reflecting on the employer’s perspective through a small sample of case studies and focus groups.
