Cash First approaches: Reducing the need for food banks in Glasgow

To tie in with the Challenge Poverty Week theme of food on Thursday 10^th October, we organised a webinar to raise awareness of Cash First approaches, how they are being used to address food insecurity, and what this means for community food organisations. We heard from Glasgow City Council’s Child Poverty Pathfinder team about the work they are involved in to reduce child poverty across Glasgow, and from Trussell Trust about the work they are involved in to embed advice services in foodbanks across Glasgow.
