Nature and nurture, people and places
The Glasgow Centre for Population Health hosted an Urban Health seminar ‘Nature and nurture, people and places’ on 27th November 2013 in House for an Art Lover (Bellahouston Park, Glasgow) to provide a space for exploration and discussion about the relationships between people, health and natural environments. Sixty-six people from a range of backgrounds and interests attended the event which involved presentations by speakers from Glasgow University, the John Muir Trust and Phoenix Futures with table and plenary discussions regarding the evidence-base, potential for action on the ground, and implications for policy and practice particularly in relation to urban environments.
