Community development workshop
The event was held at the Calton Community Learning and Heritage Centre and showcased the work of participants on the Activate community development course, who have been investigating how various aspects of where folk live, work or volunteer have an impact on quality of life.
The workshop brought participants together with other residents, members of local organisations and others with power and influence in their neighbourhoods. The focus of the session was on developing any actions the participants want to take to improve quality of life among their neighbours, friends or colleagues.
The workshop is part of a larger research project that looks at the past, present and future of four parts of Glasgow: Easterhouse, Drumchapel, Anderston/Finnieston and Bridgeton/Dalmarnock.
