Asset-based approaches and the identification of assets through asset mapping
Common Health Catalyst aimed to conduct early research to inform the development of a community research consortium dedicated to addressing health disparities in Lanarkshire. The collaborative project engaged in preparatory work to contextualise and understand the past and present health profile of the area. It aimed to enhance research capacities and capabilities concerning health disparities across the public, community, and voluntary sectors in Lanarkshire. The ultimate goal was to better equip partners with the tools and knowledge needed to address drivers of inequity at a local level, employing a variety of research and participatory approaches.
The project aimed to establish the conditions and partnerships necessary to attract future research investment into Lanarkshire and its communities.
