Healthy food provision and promotion in schools: final report

The Glasgow Centre for Population Health, in collaboration with Glasgow City Council’s Direct and Care Services (DACS) commissioned the Scottish Centre for Social Research (ScotCen) to carry out the second phase of an evaluation of the impact of healthy food provision and promotion in Glasgow schools and pupils’ food choices in school and in the home.

 
The study included in-depth qualitative interviews with key stakeholders, focus groups with school pupils as well as parents and carers. Key findings of the research are outlined in the report.
